Bodhi Phelps, was just 22 years old, when he was shot and killed May 24, 2016 by two Gresham, Oregon police officers. Officers claimed they saw two knives (despite witnesses saying otherwise) and within seconds of arriving, the officers fatally shot Bodhi as he ran, unarmed. These officers gave NO warning and didn’t even attempt to use NON-LETHAL force, which would have been appropriate, considering the circumstances.
